What are the ages of dancers who attend?
Monsters Dance Conventions are open to dancers from ages 6 years old to adult, who desire to learn from the industry's top choreographers in a fun, challenging & inspiring environment.

Do you offer Group Discounts?
We make putting together groups simple for you and your company, every 10th Teacher or Dancer registered with your group is absolutely FREE! Discounts are automatically added to your Group Registration online at time of registration.

Can we add on additional dancers to an existing registration?
Yes you can! Please email us with your additional dancers names, ages & levels along with your group confirmation code number - a Monsters representative will call you back to input your additional dancers and update your registration. Please have your payment method (i.e. Credit Card) on hand to give our representative, as our secure system does not store credit card #'s. Also, you can always call us toll-free at 1-888-566-6787 to update your registration.

Can an Individual Dancer register for Monsters, or do you have to be with a group?
Individual dancers wanting to train with our Monsters faculty of choreographers are always welcome and can register as an individual dancer at anytime. If you have any friends who would like to go with you to Monsters, gather them together and qualify yourself for the group of 10 or more discounts (see Group Discounts FAQ).

What is Club Stylz and is it appropriate for young children?

Club Stylz is a dance party held on Saturday evening in the Advanced Room.  It is open and appropriate for all ages and there is no alcohol allowed.  We offer a limited number of showcase spots for groups participating in the cnovention to perform and an individual freestyle battle with cash prizes.  Admission is free for registered workshop dancers. Additional fees apply for performers or battle participants. Tickets are $5 for everyone else and all of the proceeds from Club Stylz are donated to the American Cancer Society.




Which choreographers are teaching in my city?
Each city features 6-8 of the world’s top choreographers.  The lineup may be available about one week prior to a city but the faculty is always subject to change.  

How do I know which level to register for?
We offer the following as a guide only, recommending more emphasis on years of experience vs. age. Use your best judgment and if you need to change levels, you may do so one time prior to the third class on the first day of the event. (Additional fees may apply if switching from Junior to Intermediate/Advanced).

• Junior: Recommended for ages 6-10.  Includes two half days of classes.
• Intermediate: Ages 10-15, Recommended for dancers with 3+ years of experience. 
• Advanced: Ages 15 & Up, This is a pre-professional level recommended for dancers with 6+ years of experience. 
• Teachers: Ages 18 & Up with teaching experience; provides access to all ballrooms.

Are your faculty available to teach at my studio?

YES absolutely. We frequently arrange master classes and workshops with our Monsters faculty members as well as our Next Generation faculty. For more information or to Book A Monster, click here.



I understand that videotaping is not allowed, but can I get a copy of what Monsters records? Can I record our Showcase Performance?

Due to overwhelming demand and time constraints, we cannot fulfill video requests. Groups may record their own performance only at the Club Stylz Showcase. The group leader must fill out a "Request Form" to receive a pass to videotape their performance.



Can I get the music played at the workshop?

We do not sell music; however, time permitting; we will make every effort to compile a song list which will be available online following each workshop.
